Google Ads management for a locksmith business
A locksmith account lives in the hardest auction in local services, because national lead resellers bid on "locksmith near me" in every city and do not care what the job pays. Three things make it work anyway. Local Services Ads first: pay per lead, a Google Screened badge the fronts cannot earn, and lead prices of $20 to $60 for lockouts. Then Search, split by job: lockout terms on the hours a human answers, rekey and residential terms for weekday work, and either commercial or automotive terms depending on which you want more of. Tracked lockout calls land between $25 and $70 in most metros; commercial calls $50 to $150 with a far bigger ticket behind them.
The mistake almost every owner makes is one campaign on broad match, running 24 hours, sending every click to the home page. That buys "locksmith training" clicks and 3 a.m. calls to voicemail. Only 16.6% of locksmith listings even claim 24-hour service.
After two weeks, working looks like 15 to 35 tracked calls with recordings you have listened to, a negative list pruned twice, and a cost per booked job you can say out loud. The Google Ads guide has the full setup.
